autographsMOBILE, Ala. – Alabama Motorsports Park, A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway is pleased to announce its booth participation at the Bay Minette Air Expo Nov. 3 at the Bay Minette Airport on West Seventh Street.  Kerry Earnhardt will be on hand Saturday from 12-noon until 2pm to sign autographs.  A 2007 Daytona Prototype will also be on display throughout the duration of the event.

Representatives will be on hand to answer questions about Alabama Motorsports Park, and will give out special memorabilia while supplies last.  Information about the Winners Circle will be available.  It is a program that enables motorsports fans to belong to an elite group in which each member receives a variety of benefits and the right to buy the same seat location for motorsports events, and any other event in the motorsports facilities, they wish to attend. There is no requirement to buy tickets to every event. The membership fee is a one-time payment.

A Daytona Prototype race car will also be on display at the booth.  It is provided by project investor Rick Skelton and his Hyper Sport Racing team, based in Atlanta, Ga.  The Prototype is a six-speed 500 horse powered Doran JE4 Ford chassis with a spec wing which races in the Rolex Grand-Am Series.

“Alabama Motorsports Park is continually seeking opportunities to put itself in the eye of the greater-Mobile community,” said Tonia Jackson of PSE-3, Alabama Motorsports Park’s communications and marketing firm.  “Attendees at the Bay Minette Air Expo have an appreciation for the speed and power of the YAK-52, Nanchange and other planes.  We’re hopeful that same fascination will be translated to motorsports racing.”

Alabama Motorsports Park, A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway is a property of Gulf Coast Entertainment, L.L.C.  The entertainment complex will feature three racing venues which will accommodate many forms of racing on its oval, road course and karting facilities.  In addition, the project will include commercial enterprises including residential, hospitality, retail, restaurants and location based entertainment.  Located in Mobile County, the complex is expected to be fully operational in 2010.
