Kerry Earnhardt Appearance at BayBears Game A Success
Veteran Driver Signed Autographs, Greeted Fans and Met Local War Hero

MOBILE, AL – Veteran racecar driver and Alabama Motorsports Park, A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway investor Kerry Earnhardt signed autographs at Hank Aaron Stadium on August 3. The session lasted approximately 45 minutes.

In addition, Earnhardt assisted with an in-game promotion during the Mobile BayBears’ contest against the Birmingham Barons.

The BayBears in conjunction with Earnhardt hosted Marine Sergeant Greg Edwards, a veteran of the Iraqi war who benefited from a segment of ticket sales August 3rd as a fund-raiser by “Homes For Our Troops.”  For more information about the cause, you may log on to www.homesforourtroops.org. 

Alabama Motorsports Park, A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway is a property of Gulf Coast Entertainment, L.L.C.  The entertainment complex will feature six racing venues, LifeStyle center, restaurants, an RV resort and music theaters.   Located in Mobile County, the complex is expected to be fully operational in 2010.  www.alabamamotorsportspark.com
