Skelton-Owned Hyper Sport Racing Featured in People Magazine
Four-page Spread Highlights Star Dempsey’s Ventures in Racing

MOBILE, AL – The September 10 issue of People Magazine, scheduled to hit stands today, features a four-page spread of Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey and his endeavors in auto racing. Dempsey is a co-owner of Atlanta-based Hyper Sport Racing with Alabama Motorsports Park investor Rick Skelton.
Skelton is involved with investors Armando and Mimi Fitz in a marketing and technical partnership. The Fitzes are veteran team owners, fielding NASCAR Busch, Busch East and NASCAR Mexico entries under the Fitz Motorsports banner.

Hyper Sport is hopeful of growing a successful KONI Challenge campaign into full-time Rolex Series competition. In addition to the No. 54 Hyper Sport Mustang piloted in the GS class by Dempsey and Skelton, the team fields the No. 55, which is currently second in team points in the KONI Challenge series with two races to go. The No. 55 recorded a win this season at Mosport and has recorded two runner-up finishes.
Fitz Motorsports is currently ninth in the owner points championship in the Busch Series. The team has seven top-10 finishes in 2007, including a second-place finish and a pole award.
Alabama Motorsports Park, A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway is a property of Gulf Coast Entertainment, L.L.C. The entertainment complex will feature six racing venues, LifeStyle center, restaurants, an RV resort and music theaters.
